Bowling fundraiser

Team Dearborn is having a bowling fundraiser on Sunday, April 29! The event starts at 6 PM, with check-in starting at 5. We'll be at Skore Lanes in Taylor (22255 Ecorse Rd.). Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for kids 12 and under. For that, you get two games of bowling, shoe rental, pizza and pop.

We'll also have 50/50s and a tin can auction (including a basket of cheer and/or beer, for those of you old enough to imbibe). We're also accepting donations of items for the tin can auction (same contact methods apply)!

History of the Team

Team Dearborn was formed in 2002 by people from across Dearborn who came together to work on a school bond campaign. We found that we all shared the view that our community could be strengthened and could accomplish more if we worked together- citizens, the city, our school district, groups and organizations. Past projects include:

-City and schools working together to support Ford Motor Company's 100th Anniversary Celebration

-Organizing Dearborn Cares (centrally recognizing Dearborn's contributors to Hurricanes Katrina and Rita relief, and raising over $8,000 with our culminating Dearborn Cares event)

-Leading the campaign to put defibrillators in all Dearborn Public Schools

-Organizing and participating in the Model School District project

-Bringing the Green Schools Initiative to the district, and working towards bringing a recycling program to the schools
